FINANCIAL TURNAROUND IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD

Sentinel Radio recently aired an interview with VICTOR WESTBERG, a member of the Christian Science Board of Directors. At one time in his life, Vic ran into financial problems with a new business he'd started. He told the Sentinel's Rita Polatin how things were resolved through scientific prayer.

Vic Westberg: With a start-up business, people say it usually takes about five years of you pumping money into it before it begins to turn around and show a profit. Well, this was the second year of our existence, and the controller came in one morning and recommended cutting the staff by about 50 percent, and letting go of our big warehouse and getting a warehouse about half its size.

I'd done a lot of praying about the business and done some market research. And it was obvious that there was plenty of room in that market. We had some new ideas that we wanted to introduce into the market. So we needed to have a pretty large staff because we were sure it was going to take off. But it was slow to generate the revenue we needed.
