ANYONE CAN BE A HEALER

AN UNMISTAKABLE CALL

AS A YOUNG WOMAN, I attended a very large Protestant church three to five times per week, studied the Bible daily, and directed a 100-voice youth choir. Even though I considered myself to be knowledgeable about religion, I'd never heard of Christian Science.

After finding out that the man I was dating (who later became my husband) had gone to a Christian Science Sunday School as a child, I wanted to learn more. I began reading Science and Health, and was instantly healed of migraine headaches, which I'd suffered from since I was a teenager. Eventually, I joined our local Christian Science branch church.

As my husband and I grew together in our study and practice of Christian Science, we both decided to take Christian Science Primary class instruction. On the final day of this 12-day course, we were taking a walk with a practitioner friend. As my husband and our friend talked, I quietly listened, rejoicing in all I'd been learning that week. Suddenly, I had a strong and unmistakable desire to share what I was learning about Christian Science with the entire world. I could hardly contain myself!
