JIGSAWS OF ALL KINDS
Early one morning, as I was thinking deeply about God's immensity and total, unlimited goodness, the analogy of a jigsaw puzzle came skipping to mind with startling clarity.
When you've clearly identified the pieces of a puzzle, you can slot them easily and confidently into place, to achieve a harmonious whole. Of course, there are other times when the pieces look right at first glance, yet just won't fit; or when you can't get much further than those easier, straight-sided bits along the outer edges. That's when you have to look again, dig deeper, to complete the picture.
Sometimes a similar reexamination of thoughts and ideas helps in solving and bringing healing to the puzzles of life.
