PROOF OF GOD'S CARE: FREE OF KIDNEY STONES

I attended a Christian Science Sunday School from the age of four till I was about 17. I always considered myself to be a Christian Scientist, and even though I wasn't a practicing church member, I knew that God was guiding my life.

After my marriage and the birth of our two children, I started experiencing intense internal discomfort. Eventually, I went to see a doctor, who told me that I had kidney stones. I don't recall his entire prescription, but I do remember he recommended a change of diet and said the problem would probably continue.

At this point, my mother gave me a large supply of Sentinels. Since I was tired of suffering, and had begun to feel that there wasn't a medical solution to my situation, I gratefully accepted them. Every day during my lunch hour, I'd read a Sentinel, especially the testimonies of healing. After a while, it dawned on me that people all over the world were having healings of every type of disease and of other challenges by turning to God, through the study and application of Christian Science. This gave me confidence that I could be healed, too.
