PRAYER INSTEAD OF SURGERY
Before I actually began studying Christian Science on a regular basis, I experienced a healing that I would like to share.
A few years ago, a small lump appeared on the upper backside of my leg. I went to the doctor for my routine checkup and asked him about it. He said I should have it removed surgically while it was small, because it would only continue to grow, and then the operation would be more extensive.
I wasn't looking forward to an operation of any kind, but I feared this would be an eventuality. I discussed the situation with my wife, who has always relied on Christian Science for healing. She said we could pray about it.
