ANYONE CAN BE A HEALER

HOW CAN I HELP?

GROWING UP, I had many spiritual thinkers as role models, including Sunday School teachers and several family members who were Christian Science practitioners. They let their light shine, and their lives blessed many others, including me. I always thought I would become a Christian Science practitioner at some point.

Intuitively, I knew that I had to let my own healing practice take shape with God's timing and guidance. I couldn't just pick up spirituality by absorbing it from others who'd paved the way. As I prayed to understand my healing purpose, I learned that each of us grows in a spiritual understanding of God through our own relationship to Him. Each person's path to the public practice is unique and precious.

I can't say I've had one defining moment when I just knew I'd become a full-time practitioner. But throughout my career as a musician, secretary, restaurant manger, hardware store owner, schoolteacher, wife, mother, and office manager, I've had wonderful moments to share spiritual truths and pray for others who needed healing. I'd often share spiritual ideas with customers who came into the hardware store. They would tell me their troubles, and I would always try to respond with compassion, and with practical answers that spoke to their own hearts.
