HEALED OF INJURIES AFTER AN ATTACK
Late one evening about two years ago, I had an experience that clearly demonstrated to me something Christian Science teaches: that God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. I saw how understanding this can rescue us from the most difficult situations, and bring healing.
While I was walking down a quiet suburban street, two young men approached me and knocked me to the ground. One of the assailants repeatedly kicked me in the head, while the other began to search me for valuables. At the time, I had my wallet, mobile phone, and keys.
As I lay on the pavement, I refused to accept the thought that God was absent and that evil was in control. I knew God was the only real power and that therefore any evidence to the contrary couldn't be true.
