GROWTH IN BREAST HEALED THROUGH PRAYER

In the summer of 2005, I noticed evidence of a growth in my breast. I turned to prayer for healing, as I had learned to do through my study of Christian Science. My husband, who is a Christian Science practitioner, began to pray with and for me. We were working on projects overseas at the time and were due to return to the United States.

There were times when I awoke at night afraid and in physical discomfort. Then my husband would pray out loud in his native language of Spanish, and how grateful I was for those prayers. Even if I didn't understand every word, I would always feel divine Love's presence, and the fear would flee. My husband never showed any fear, and this was a great support to me. Also, I never felt that I needed to seek any other but spiritual means for healing.

How important it was to consistently and vehemently know the presence and power of God filling all space and leaving no room for fear to influence, act on, or govern me. This was my first and foremost need.
