THYROID HEALED

During my childhood, I suffered a lot from my father's aggressiveness. I was only eight when my mother passed on, and my siblings and I were enrolled in a boarding school, where sometimes we were treated with hostility.

When I was 21, I found out I had thyroid problems. I made regular visits to a doctor who recommended I take all the prescribed medicines, which, by the way, were so numerous that I needed a chart.

I felt I depended on the medications and was afraid that the problem would grow worse. I was ill and suffered from palpitations, anxiety, and depression. In addition, I needed pills in order to sleep. From time to time, I would undergo lab examinations to evaluate the functioning of the thyroid gland.
