IT'S VACATION TIME—MORE WORK OR REAL REST?

My Recent Vacation plans called for a visit to relatives near Orlando, Florida. A glance at fellow passengers waiting to board the flight revealed a higher percentage than usual under ten years old.

Clearly, these passengers weren't seeking rest and relaxation. The younger ones among them (given the logos on their shirts and hats, and the "ears" they were wearing) were heading for Disney World, the home of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I inwardly chuckled, sensing these little ones' indifference to the laws of time and space. They boarded the plane as if in a few moments they would disembark inside the Magic Kingdom.

Millions of people, young and old, will take vacations this summer. Many will travel hundreds, even thousands, of miles to a destination they expect to be quite different from the hustle and bustle of their daily routines. They will seek both physical and mental rest. They will expect rejuvenation.
