Monday: Today I thought about how "[Divine Love] is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Science and Health, p. 578). I really feel Love taking care of us when Mom drives us from our farm to school through the fields and over rocky hillsides. The Shepherd keeps us safe and happy.

Tuesday: We had a science test this morning. Last night, when I was studying for the test, Dad didn't even know the answers to some of the questions in my science book. And I got really scared.

Grandpa suggested I look up the word afraid in the concordance on his computer. And this is what I found: "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest" (Josh. 1:9).
