THROUGH A SPIRITUAL LENS

GLINTING, HEALING SUNLIGHT

Over the years, my wife and I have visited many of the private and public gardens in our beautiful country, and I have taken dozens of photos of the landscapes, flowers, animals, and even the bugs that are to be found around them.

A few months ago, while we were visiting the Dallas Arboretum, we unexpectedly came across this theatrical interplay of light and shadow. We stood still in amazement. Speechless, yet deep in thought.

We could scarcely believe the way in which in sprinkler created a soft mist, and the midday sun glanced through the trees, throwing mauve shadows across the rocks, and gleaming in the waters of a small stream that seemed to come out of nowhere. The birds were silent. The stream gurgled sweetly.
