prayer beyond words
One of the great things about prayer is there is no set formula. There are infinite ways to pray, but I have found there is often one key ingredient—feeling. Prayers without feeling are like wells without water. No matter how hard you draw, you come up empty.
Recently, I had a cold. For two days, I was laid low.
Now that I think about it, it really wasn't the cold that was the problem. I connect it to feeling pretty far away from God. So I decided to use this downtime to try to get back a feeling of closeness to God.
