MOBILITY REGAINED QUICKER THAN EXPECTED
Originally published in Le Héraut de la Christian Science
Last autumn, while raking leaves, I took a fall. Although I was in a lot of pain, I was able to make my way back into the house and telephone a Christian Science practitioner, who assured me that she would immediately start praying for me.
My conversation with her was a great help to me.
Since I live alone, I asked a friend who is a Christian Scientist to come over and keep me company. In the meantime, my son arrived. He was worried and insisted I be seen by a doctor. I was taken to a hospital for X-rays, and a few hairline fractures were detected in my lower back. The doctor mentioned that a full recovery was many months away. Then I went home.
