"The prayer team is from Mission GTA, an eclectic group of Christian pastors and laymen from across the region who have been meeting bimonthly at City Hall since May of 2000 because they believe that prayer changes things. The meetings began inauspiciously five years ago when a small group of pastors felt led by God to regularly visit the seat of municipal government. Now, attendance can reach as high as 150.
