I had a healing

One morning I woke up feeling really dizzy. I told my dad that I wasn't feeling very well. I kind of felt sick to my stomach.

My dad and my brother prayed for me. My little brother said, "God has all the power, and He is in control." My father said, "God is the Creator, and nothing can break His power or be stronger than His power." And I prayed for myself. I was starting to feel better, but I was afraid that I couldn't go to my friend's party the next day.

My mom and I read through the Sentinel for kids and we read an article that talked about Samuel from the Bible. When Samuel heard his name called three times, he went to his master each time. His master kept saying, "I didn't call you." The fourth time, Samuel knew it was God calling him. After reading that story, I learned to listen more carefully for what God was telling me.
