I felt God's love

A couple of years ago I had a great healing through prayer. My mom and I were visiting friends in the United States at the time. The bathroom in the apartment where we stayed had two water faucets. One provided boiling water for making tea. But I didn't know that. Nobody had told us that this faucet should only be used for hot drinks. So one night I turned it on to wash my hands. The boiling water ran over my hands. I started crying.

When my mom realized what had happened, she started praying with me right away. She also called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. Mom and I talked about how God gives me only good all the time and that I could trust God's love for me. That made sense.

I calmed down, and after just a little while, the pain left. I knew God was caring for me. When I went to bed that night, I could feel God's love very close to me.

The next morning there wasn't anything wrong with my hands. There wasn't even a single red spot left. I was very happy about this quick healing!
