A little boy with big promise

There was nothing ordinary about his birth. A bright, special star appeared in the sky. Angels announced the new arrival to shepherds tending their flocks. There were echoes of "Glory to God" and "Peace on earth."

No, Jesus was no ordinary baby.

His parents, Mary and Joseph, knew this, of course. Jesus was the Son of God. The Messiah. And they didn't have to wait until Jesus grew up before other people knew it, too.
