LETTERS
I could write a thank-you letter every week for the Sentinel. This latest one on "What is Christian Science?" is so very helpful to me. I have been a Christian Scientist from my childhood, and now into my grandparenthood, and the Sentinel is integral to my everyday challenges. I could not imagine my life without it.
But on reading the fresh, perceptive thinking of Phil Davis, Elise Moore, and Jim Bencivenga, and the stories of six people who explain "Why I am a Christian Scientist," I'm now motivated to sit down to write out my own story, about my own "Why," and never take it for granted. My weekly visits with the writers and those who send in their testimonies—and the frank, honest sharing of people like Miranda Miller and her brother ["My journey with my brother," August 29]—make the Sentinel the most welcome mail in my mailbox.
