'The Return of the Dove to the Ark'
The dove flew, following the rain, and locating no landing
She returned to the ark.
The dove flew after seven days and brought an olive leaf,
And returned to the ark.
The dove flew again, after seven more days, and finding freedom,
Returned not to the ark.
But the ark remained—home to Noah.
Night and day his dedication showed love, tenderness, devotion,
And God-filled trust in divine safety and supply.
The dove had lived that Ark-environment of hope and faith;
And now she had found her own pure place and purpose.
