I wish to thank you for the book review [December 29] by Kim Shippey of John Ortberg's book titled If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat. It couldn't have come at a better time for me.
We had a beautiful trip planned, but then the Orange Alert became so prominent on TV and all the news media. Our departure was scheduled for January 1 from a major international airport. We were beginning to be surrounded by fear. But that wonderful article absolutely erased all fear, and I knew without a doubt we would be very safe. I exchanged fear for God's absolute love and safety, and we kept to all our plans. God's security, love, and care were always with us, and it was a beautiful experience I will always look back on.
