Charting a course for the next century of Christian Science

On February 4, 2004, the anniversary of Mary Baker Eddy's discovery of Christian Science in 1866, The Christian Science Board of Directors convened a special meeting to make some important announcements. The Board's message was delivered by its Chairman, Virginia Harris, and Vice Chairman and Treasurer, Walter D. Jones. While addressed to employees of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and The Christian Science Publishing Society, it holds significance to people everywhere.

The Sentinel is pleased to publish this summary and encourages readers to log on to www.churchofchristscientist.org to hear the Board of Directors' comments in full.
