God, grace, and you
God Is Your Nearest and dearest friend. In times of grief or trouble, a spouse or loved one may not be there. Even if they are there, they may not be able to fathom the depth of your despair. But God is always here and there and now. A poem written by Mary Baker Eddy refers to God as the "strongest deliverer, friend of the friendless" (Poems, p. 75).
The polishing process in thought often translates into the need to yield to a simple acceptance of God's grace, His favor, and His friendship.
