Among other things in my unpayable debt of gratitude to God is my joy in being able to read the articles in the publications which come from The Christian Science Publishing Society. I appreciate them all. But at the moment John Selover's editorial "Do Michael and Gabriel get along" (March 17) is one of the most outstanding that I have read in some time. It has touched me deeply where and when I needed it.

Thank you for the April 14 issue on prayer to end conflict and establish peace. I found it very powerful and healing. To have inspiring examples—one right after the other—of how others [prayed] about the situation in Iraq lifted my thought from a material sense of conflict to the spiritual sense of establishing peace.
