For many years the Sentinel has been an inspiring part of my weekly reading list, and it has become so fresh and creative that I look forward to its arrival more than ever. I am particularly grateful for Ginny Luedeman's testimony, "A powerful stand for her life," which appeared in the March 3 issue. Not only did I find it helpful, but I was able to share it with two persons dealing with physical problems. Both of them found inspiration from reading this testimony. Thank you for keeping the Sentinel "abreast of the times."

I would like to thank Dave Hohle for his article "Momentum toward peace" in the March 17 issue. We need more articles like this to start breaking down the mental blinders which focus my country too readily on the military solution to world problems. The gun culture and violence that are so prevalent carry over into the national culture when dealing with other nations. The quick fix and do-it-ourway approach too often lead to the easy military option by default.
