Prayers for peace
In our April 7 issue, The Christian Science Board of Directors published a request for readers to share with the Sentinel their ongoing prayers "to settle conflicts in the Middle East and Persian Gulf." Following are more of the contributions we've received.
By Dorothy E. Wolf

Prayer to overcome conflict and establish peace is found in the Bible. The first applicable peace statement, I believe, is God's first statement in Genesis in regard to creation: "Let there be light." And as you remember, there was light immediately!
