Your editorial "Who owns the land?" (August 11) has fulfilled a great need for me. Since visiting the Holy Land in 1988, I have been praying about the situation there.
The editorial brings out that "the promised land" is "a homeland of ideas, an immeasurably rich mental universe governed by spiritual laws of being and relationship." It continues: What must fall "is the concept that matter defines, and confines, our lives and situation in life.
"Jesus refused to be a divider. Christ expresses God's oneness, His unifying power."
