Martin is no longer afraid
One night, Martin went with his Mom and Dad to visit his friend Mateo. After dinner, while their parents were chatting outside in the garden, Martin and Mateo turned on the TV and watched some scenes from a scary movie. They laughed when they saw an ugly creature that walked and roared like a wild animal. It looked so real! But it wasn't real, and Martin knew this very well.
That night, though, when he was alone in his bedroom with the lights off, things were different. Martin began remembering the movie. Could that creature be real after all, and hiding in his room? Martin peeked around the room from under his cover.
Close to the window there seemed to be a monster, just waiting to attack him. Martin turned on the light and realized it was just the coat rack. Whew!
