HOW GOD HELPED US!
One day our whole family went to the paint store. Dad went in, and the rest of us waited in the car with my mom. He was in the store a long, long time. Then my brother Tim went in. We still waited. And waited. Then my sister Catherine wanted to go in, and I wanted to go with her. She didn't want me to go, so she shut the car door right behind her. I tried to stop the door with my hand. Instead, it closed on my hand. I started crying, and so did Catherine.
Then Catherine and mom and I talked about forgiving people. I loved Catherine and I had to forgive her. And I did. And Catherine had to forgive herself—and she did. And by the time my dad came out of the paint store, my hand was OK.
