What to trust when your trust is tested
"HI, GRANDMA." "Hi, Mom." They both called me last night. Happy voices, happy news—from our oldest granddaughter, Tanya, and her mom—our daughter, Virginia. Quite a different story from their situation 25 years ago.
My confidence in basic human goodness was being tested. As I prayed, I knew in my heart this was not the time to withdrew my trust.
