YOUR LETTERS
Second thoughts
At the time I read the article "Listening, with arms wide open" (February 4), I have to admit I let my thought drift to thinking it was a bit long and not too deep. I didn't think much more about the article until others mentioned it and their thoughts about it. They were not pleased with the content because they felt that there was not much Christian Science in it. This began to stir my thought about the article and its content. I really began to think more deeply about "Listening" when I read the letters in the February 25 Sentinel. I felt all the comments were heartfelt and sincere, but I felt I was being called to look at the subject more deeply.
Well, upon further study, I found that the article did express Christian Science because it focused on God as support, thought, and expression. Even though the words Christian Science were not mentioned, its qualities and properties were there—just maybe in a format that is more easily understood by someone who does not know what Christian Science means.
