Healing through prayer: questions answered
Just what does a spiritual healer do? The Sentinel decided to find out. In a Q&A, we asked Christian Science spiritual healers around the United States how they approach their work. Here are answers from Lois Carlson of Evanston, Illinois; John Hueffner of Dallas, Texas; Howard Johnson of La Jolla, California; and Cheryl Petersen of Kennewick, Washington.
1 What made you want to become a spiritual healer?
Howard Johnson: I was healed of tuberculosis, and was so thrilled by the healing I wanted everyone to have Science and Health.
