Truth gets results
About 12 months ago I went to the dentist because I thought I had cracked a filling in my tooth. Shortly before the appointment I started to pray to establish firmly in my mind that my spiritual identity as God's reflection was not subject to decay.
After an examination and X-ray, the dentist could find nothing wrong. But he warned me that I might have an abscess forming. When I left his office, I read these words from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: "Be firm in your understanding that the divine Mind governs, and that in Science man reflects God'sgovernment. Have no fear that matter can ache, swell, and be inflamed as a result of a law of any kind, when it is self-evident that matter can have no pain nor inflammation" (p. 393).
