A MARRIAGE RECONCILED
Original in Portuguese
We got engaged after five years of dating. But, a few weeks before our wedding, my husband asked that we wait a few more months. I was very hurt and insecure and insisted on keeping to the set date. I couldn't stand the thought that there were doubts after so many years of dating.
We did get married on the agreed-upon date, but all happiness between us ended. My husband was always in a bad mood and said I had forced him to get married.
We had planned to have children after five years. But I got pregnant unexpectedly after two years. With this, our relationship got much worse. He said he wasn't prepared to be a father and blamed me for everything.
