This is spiritual warfare
THE WORLD IS ENTERING what is being called a sustained campaign against terror. As humanity rises in opposition to terrorism, coalitions are forming and support is coming from widely diverse groups. Military, diplomatic, political, and economic measures are being employed. Tender concern for innocent victims and for those displaced by terrorists' actions is evident.
To be successful, this campaign must also address the mental causes that breed terror and lead to terrible acts. Ignorance must be replaced with understanding; hatred and intolerance must yield to universal love. Fear must give way to moral courage. This is spiritual warfare.
The mission of this magazine is to "hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love." Perhaps this mission is more vital today than ever. The Sentinel's editors are committed to bringing readers a spiritual perspective on world issues and events in a timely way. Deadlines and procedures are becoming more fluid and responsive to highlight the mental and spiritual issues that must be addressed. Sentinel distribution is being expedited to get these magazines to readers more quickly.
