The best problem-solver
One time at the office, one of my ears started to hurt a lot. I was afraid it might get worse and that I might lose my hearing.
But then I turned to God. I remembered this: "The 'divine ear' is not an auditory nerve" (Science and Health, p. 7). I reasoned from this that God is Spirit, not material. So God's ability to hear us can never be lost, and neither can our ability to find freedom from suffering.
And I am God's image. I kept reminding myself of this. Then I became peaceful and calm. After a few days, the pain left for good.
