YOUR LETTERS
"It really spoke to me at one of my most vulnerable spots. I have read it at least three times."
I am not a Christian Scientist, but a friend of mine is, and she often passes her literature on to me when she is finished with it. I have enjoyed all that she has given me, but I want to comment especially on an article "Ask yourself: is it my bag of cookies?" (June 19). It really spoke to me at one of my most vulnerable spots. I have read it at least three times. I know there are other fine articles in this issue, but I can't seem to get past this one. Thank you for publishing the article, and please let Cynthia K. H. Philip know how valuable I consider it.

I was delighted to read "This guy really was lovable" (July 10) as I, too, had come to the same conclusion that Naaman, the captain of the king's hosts, had a habit of "listening" to his subordinates (see II Kings 5:1–14).
