HOSPITAL CHAPLAIN'S PRAYER
The author wrote this prayer when she heard about the challenges a friend of hers—a hospital chaplain—faced at work. The chaplain found it helpful, and the author offers it to Sentinel readers.
Dear Father-Mother God.
Because I walk these halls and enter these rooms in Your name, with Your Word, in Your service, and visit Your children, reminding them of Your Love and help in their time of trouble and suffering, I am protected by Your spiritual law of justice and mercy from physical laws of contagion—from physical or mental harm.
