We tend to discount anything small, not realizing that when it is part of a whole, it has tremendous power:

Look at the rain. On a warm summer day, even a gentle mist is enough to bring out the fragrance of the earth and to nourish and sustain vegetation. It is the sum total of these drops that has the power to sustain and refresh. But every single drop is important.

This month in the United States, the election process is going forward. When thinking of elections, we may feel that our personal contribution doesn't count for very much. What difference can one individual make?
