Recovery from injured ankle
Out of gratitude for all the writers who have shared their thoughts, I share this testimony. Walking across a soft lawn, I tripped and fell, twisting my ankle. Immediately I realized that I could not fall from God's care, and that God would never cause an accident to happen.
Limping to the car, I drove home, entered the kitchen, and kicked off my shoe. My neighbor, who had seen me limping, called out words of sympathy, adding that it had taken six weeks for her ankle to heal. I appreciated her concern, but dismissed the thought that healing needed to take a long time.
