Prayer protects from injury and stops hemorrhaging
Two years ago, in the late summer, I began to trim some tall bushes along the side of our house. I was standing on a six-foot ladder with my feet about five feet off the ground, using electric clippers that were locked on. Suddenly, the ladder began to fall over, and as I fell, I threw the clippers as far away as possible. I landed flat on my back. As I hit the ground, my head snapped back and hit the ground hard. The first thing I said was, "I'm not hurt!" My wife, who was working nearby, said essentially the same thing almost simultaneously. I was somewhat shaken. But I still realized that I am really spiritual, and so can't be hurt.
A few hours later, my wife and I took a five-mile walk, and I felt well and invigorated.
