A CHANGE OF HEART
One evening at dinner, a family member lashed out at me angrily for no apparent reason. The criticism was unjustified and untrue. Normally I can shrug off negative opinions, but this time I felt hurt and upset. I soon felt a pain in my chest, but did not say anything about it.
After dinner, I went out for a walk to be alone and to pray. I felt unloved, unappreciated, deserted.
