Stubborn injuries—not hopeless

There's a way out through prayer.

Hope—and healing —are the Bible's specialty. Its inspired message can help heal even the most stubborn injury. The Bible describes a God who is infinite, who is all-powerful Love, and who tenderly takes care of each of His children.

With all that the Bible has to say about God's goodness and totality, we can challenge long-held assumptions about any "permanent" injury. Would God, who is entirely good, allow one of His own children to be injured or hurt? Would God turn His back, be out to lunch, not in control of His own creation, even for a second?

Not a God who is Love, as the Bible describes Him. God holds each one of us in His arms, always protecting, guiding, and enfolding us. God's ever-present care and power suggest that there may be more good available to us—a lot more good—than we've been aware of. Availing ourselves of God's love and power, we find healing becoming a real possibility.
