Ivy poisoning healed overnight
One weekend I was down at Cape Cod playing at my grandma and grandpa's house. I must have played in poison ivy or something, because the next day my eye really itched, and it was all swollen. My teachers in school were very concerned about me, and the nurse made me leave school early because she said I had a bad case of ivy poisoning. They called my mom, and she picked me up and took me home.
When we got home, Mom called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. She assured me that all is well. I was praying to understand that I was God's perfect child and nothing bad can happen to me.
That night I was tempted to scratch my face, but I didn't Then when I was in bed I felt better. While I was asleep, it all went away. I didn't itch, and the rash was gone. The next morning, I went to school and stayed for the whole day. After school, my mom asked me how I was doing. I said I was all better. And Mom asked me how school was, and I said great!
