I'm perfect?

AS a teenager, I had my doubts. But I was studying the Bible at that time, and I found some convincing passages. Speaking of God and His creation, Moses declared to the congregation of Israel, "He is the Rock, his work is perfect" (Deut. 32:4).So, if God made me, and His work is perfect, so am I! God, who is ever-present divine Love, has created all in and of Himself. Since God is infinite good, His creation must be like Him—spiritual and good—full of beauty and perfection.

God is everywhere and forever maintaining His creation, so in the truest sense, perfection must be the reality here and now. Christ Jesus taught, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matt. 5:48). Was he telling us to do something that we can't do? No! This teaching of Jesus could also be thought of as: "You are therefore perfect, since your Father in heaven is perfect."
