Internal disorder healed

My heart is filled with gratitude to God for His great goodness and to Mary Baker Eddy for sharing with the world the Science of Christianity. Through a greater understanding of Christ Jesus' healing works, I was able to overcome what seemed to be a malfunctioning of the internal organs.

For several months, I suffered intense pain during and following elimination. One day, as I was reading Science and Health, the following statements lifted me to recognize more clearly the spiritual nature of being: "... thought increases or diminishes the secretions, the action of the lungs, of the bowels, and of the heart. The muscles, moving quickly or slowly and impelled or palsied by thought, represent the action of all the organs of the human system, including brain and viscera. To remove the error producing disorder, you must calm and instruct mortal mind with immortal Truth" (p. 415). This awakening of thought brought about an immediate shifting or movement within my body to a more normal state of being. There was no more pain, and complete freedom of action ensued from that time forward.

Also, as a result of this prayerful work, a corn on the bottom of my foot that had been uncomfortable for a long time completely disappeared.
