WORKPLACE
Job seeker or job finder—which one are you?
"For a while job prospects seemed very slim. Then I decided to pray."
SEVERAL YEARS AGO I found myself looking for a job. I had children in school, and my family needed financial support in order to meet mortgage payments and other expenses.
For a while the job prospects seemed very slim. Then I decided to pray about the situation. Situations began to open for me to do a little part-time and temporary work. Gradually, I was able to secure full-time employment that has been very helpful in meeting the needs of my family.
I learned much during this time. Although the experience of seeking and waiting was often frustrating, I learned that there was a higher source to help me find employment.
