Talk to me!
First thing one morning I went online. To my surprise, there was no welcoming "You've Got Mail" awaiting me. "But I always have electronic mail in the morning," I thought to myself, "even if it's only spam" (electronic junk mail). I figured the carrier had problems and I'd just check in later. So I did. Still no mail. I did this periodically throughout the morning. I could tell from my mailbox service that my friends were receiving and reading my mail, yet they weren't responding. No mail the whole day. My ego was taking a bruising.
