Chronic headaches eliminated
I had suffered terribly with morning headaches every morning, every day. It was "automatic," no longer a surprise. It was as ordinary as waking each morning.
Then early one morning as I woke I realized that the headache wasn't real—it was only a regular, persistent, if that were possible, illusion. An illusion is something that deceives by providing a false or misleading impression of reality.
I remembered that Mary Baker Eddy writes in Science and Health, "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea" (p. 495). And that was the end of it. I haven't had a headache at all since. "It" has tried again and again, but I simply say "No, thank you," and that is the end of it. I haven't had a headache at all since this illumination of my thought. And I am so unspeakably grateful for this great and wonderful realization.
