"I particularly liked the thought that 'intelligence is surely expressed in many different, unique ways.' "
Thank you for the article "Your prayer—immediater help in a disaster" in the March 16 issue. At the time of the Loma Prieta earthquake I had a son and family living in that area. On the day of the earthquake I arrived home from grocery shopping, not having heard of the tremor. Suddenly, though, I had a tremendous feeling that an earthquake was going on somewhere. I recognized this as a deep call for prayer.
As I acknowledged the safety of God's children and the indestructible elements of Mind everywhere, it came to me specifically to include my children in California in my prayers. The result proved itself in the story of safety and guidance my son related afterward.
